Overview

Designed for current or aspiring volunteer coordinators, managers and team leaders, this short course develops practical skills in leading volunteer teams and supporting volunteer workforce development.

The course comprises two nationally recognised units from the CHC44015 Certificate IV in Coordination of Volunteer Programs. It provides practical strategies for leading teams, supporting volunteer performance and engagement, and developing a capable and sustainable volunteer workforce. Successful completion will result in a Statement of Attainment for the units achieved.

This course combines two complementary units focused on volunteer team leadership and workforce development. It provides a practical professional-development option for those who want to strengthen their leadership capability without immediately undertaking the full qualification.

Both units form part of the CHC44015 Certificate IV in Coordination of Volunteer Programs and may contribute towards the qualification if the learner chooses to continue their studies.

Delivery

This course is delivered entirely online through our e-learning platform. Designed for independent learners, the course allows you to progress at your own pace and on your own schedule, supporting both personal and professional development.

Each unit also includes optional live online workshops delivered via Teams. This course must be completed within 4 months from commencement.

Schedule and Duration

The course must be completed within 4 months. Students have the flexibility to progress through the units at their own pace, allowing them to balance their studies with other commitments.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is offered to candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge acquired through relevant work experience or other applicable qualifications.

Fees

If you choose to continue and commence the Certificate IV in Coordination of Volunteer Programs (CHC44015) in the future, the cost already paid will be deducted from the total course fee.
